I think if it were a typical Sunday race, they might have gone conservative. NASCAR usually does everything they can to get the entire race in, regardless of the weather. When it’s a “makeup day” race,, especially on a weekday, you’re racing to halfway. Anything past that that stops the race, and they’re calling it.
