“Attendance doesn’t matter - the series cares about viewership”
The Jalopnik market would only buy it if it cost the same as a ‘94 Ranger with 180k on it.
Because it’s a 6 year old interior in a truck they sell in the Asian market. Cheap, cheap, cheap.
This *is* their foreign market *cheap & cheerful* truck.
God, I can smell the shitty damp 90’s GM interior and rock hard plastics from here. What’s with the riceboy painted dash?
Bingo. I own 6 vehicles with a manual gearbox. My full size pickup and tow rig is an automatic. I’ve driven plenty of manual-box equipped trucks, and frankly don’t understand why you would want one, especially when compared to a modern automatic box. They’re not “fun” to drive. You’re not blipping the throttle and…
Their standalone event at COTA sold fewer than 3k tickets and had zero promotion. They’re not ready to be a headliner.
Indycar races street courses, so they go where the headliner goes. Judging by the ghost towns that were Miller Motorsports Park and COTA - the series is nowhere near being anywhere close to being a headliner.
World Challenge has had the “potential” to be huge for 20 years, and every few years when they start to get close, SCCA-Pro blows it. Be it through rules creep, horrid TV packages, oversubscription to the grid, etc. Currently it’s the abundance of “Am” class and spec cup car guys as field fillers and yellow magnets.
Because PWC is a support series. They race where the headliners go. Given that the primary headliner at a lot of these tracks is the Tudor series, with their own sedan-based support series in the Continental Challenge, obviously they’re not going to run there.
$3k final price.
Sold for a whopping 3k. Given that that rat infested ghetto mobile you posted needs about 4500 bucks worth of work, enlighten me as to its value?
Up and up and up and up to a whopping 3k.
Does seem rather redundant.
Aww, you think 2k students is a “big” HS? Mine was around 7400.
Check your privilege, son.
So, what this year has made you want to watch PWC? The single file “no pro drivers know how to drive in the rain” shitshow at COTA? The “follow the safety car” debacle that was St. Pete, or the complete amateur hour shitshow that was long beach?
What an absolute debacle.
Tavarish trying to call a woefully uninformed individual out for giving shitty, misguided advice? Meta.
