Good thing this has 4 wheels then.
Good thing this has 4 wheels then.
No they're not. Go read the "oppositelock" forums, it's embarrassing.
You know, I'm almost kinda glad that Top Gear is now DOA for the most part, if for no other reason than it will kill off some of these lazy, done to death jokes.
Once again, not a charity. F1 is a television based sport, the live venues at this point are almost irrelevant. The last 2-3 German Grand Prixs drew fewer than 40k fans, and that was with severely discounted tickets. If there's no fan support, and no competent leadership at the venues, why would F1 run there?
Bernie has nothing to do with the engine formula, that's the FIA. He's been openly critical of it since the inception and wants it gone.
Who honestly do you think would replace him, and are you actually delusional enough to think it would be an improvement? European motorsports are an actual cesspool. The WEC is a joke, WRC has been on a toilet-swirling deathbed for the past decade, MotoGP is a mess, World Superbike is practically irrelevant at this…
It's a 20 race international schedule, are they supposed to reschedule everything else because the Nurburgring went bankrupt, and the Hockeheimring can't get the facility ready?
And 4 months ago Bernie offered the race to Hockenheim, provided they could come up with the sanctioning costs and make sure the facilities were ready 3 months prior to the race. This week they told FOM that they couldn't have it ready by then.
Those backwater middle eastern countries pay the contract fees. The Nurburgring is bankrupt, and the current owners had no contract. Not particularly hard to figure out.
Exactly. Red Bull bought the A1 ring and made it fit for F1 again, people trying to lay this at Bernie's feet are delusional.
Recall the nurburgring went bankrupt last year, the group that bought it didn't have the contract to run the race, and were nowhere near the agreement made with the previous group.
Not likely. WEC plays to ghost towns anywhere besides Le Mans. The F1 turnout the past few years at both German Gran Prix sites has been pathetic.
Would you honestly guess "Florida" for Stetson? I only know that because I knew a chick that went there.
The current Tundra actually has a pretty big following in Australia - it gets imported in by aftermarket companies and converted. It shares a large number of powertrain, suspension and chassis components with the LC200 Land Cruisers.
You need a new provider
Holy crap dude, you rocking like a 550 score or something? 3 german sports cars, a bike, a full size pickup, a british/german "sport" hatch thing, full comp on everything with 2 drivers and I'm paying 250 bucks less than that a year.
See, I can see that for the crowd buying the 35-38k trucks. The 60+k vehicles? I know those people, and I don't see it.
I..guess. Makes no sense to me when practically every full size manufacturer is handing you 0% for 72 months right at the start. A payment is a payment, when the cost of borrowing is less than inflation, I wouldn't even think about using liquid cash.
Nobody is in the business of building 10 year old 15k trucks.
You can, ditch the 4wd and it's 28k.
