“It’s possible that Disney could delay several upcoming releases, including MCU movies, future Disney+ TV series and multiple live-action remakes of classic Disney animated films.”

Joker Barbie.

Melons like honeydew and cantaloupe are so highly underrated because there are so many BAD ones out there - underripe, hard, and flavorless. A fresh, perfectly ripe honeydew or cantaloupe is fragrant and glorious.

I’m willing to bet you haven’t actually seen Oppenheimer, because ‘patriotic’ is not high on the list of adjectives I’d use.

I agree with you. Oppenheimer is NOT a wave the flag America is great movie. It is an examination of ethics and moments in history when the decisions have global implications.

i’ll give you Barbie as an established IP but Oppenheimer isn’t your prototypical WW2 movie...

Patriotic WW2 dramas

Peter Thiel and presumably others actually made Paypal successful and paid Elon to go away or at least not break anything.

Can we take a moment to note how great the Cerritos class uniforms look in live action. Definitely one of the best looking StarFleet uniforms and they did a great job translating the animation design into a workable uniform costume. Jack Quaid was brilliant as Boimler in live action too.

Is it a pinup poster?!”

The whole thing was pure brilliance. Giving the Lower Deckers a brief introduction and not just having Boimler pop up was well done. That opening sequence LOL. Pike’s growing frustration was hilarious and I LOVED the scene where Ortegas and Chapel mess with Boimler.

One of the best hours of Trek ever - any series, any era.

That’s par for the course for big companies with money-grubbing, fart-sniffing CEOs with too much time in their hands. But at least he didn’t outright murder established, enormously successful branding like

Surest sign yet that Musk is surrounded only by yes-men who won’t push back on even the dumbest ideas.

Hey, the best time to start a revolution is always right now.

We’ve created a society where the uber rich can make the stupidest fucking decisions imaginable, ruin people’s careers and lives, and never face any consequences.

Anyone else having a hard time picturing this episode after watching? I keep seeing animated Boimler and Mariner in scenes with live action SNW in my mind's eye and it is messing with me, man.

That was great.

While I love both Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, this crossover was more than I could have hoped for! It’s been a long time since any episode of television has made me excited to watch it a second time as soon as possible.

One of the best episodes of Star Trek I have ever seen, They even redid the SNW intro in the LD style, and added little references here and there.
