“Lea! Lea! It’ll look better if you turn away from the camera.”
“Is this good?”
“More. Moooooore. Alright, now just a smidge further.”
“I’m facing the wall.”
“Perfect! Now if you’d just turn a little more...”

Hell, he barely voiced him in the movies.
I thought the same so I did a little research. You probably know this, but you don’t fly in a straight line from Earth to Mars. You launch when Earth is a little ahead of Mars, but back, away from the direction of orbit, and sort of hit Mars as it is coming towards you.
Hey Hattie, Soon-Yi Previn is the adopted daughter of actress Mia Farrow and musician André Previn. “Zero Gravity” is not Allen’s memoir, but rather a collection of fictional stories. His memoir is his previous book entitled “Apropos of Nothing.” Even though you and your readers do not like Allen, as a journalist you…
For God’s sake A.V. Club, please do even the most minor fact checking. Soon-Yi is the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and Andre Previn. She is/was NOT Woody Allen’s adopted daughter. Woody Allen was never related to Soon-Yi in any way, not even on paper, as he and Mia Farrow never married. Allen and Farrow adopted two…
well hold on maybe he’s planning on accidentally killing him.
As a fan of the first two seasons but haven’t watched the third yet reading these it does come off like the show has jumped the shark but no one’s ready to admit it yet.
Yeah, I…I don’t think whoever wrote this actually saw the movie.
I’m not excited about this one but you can’t use a director’s tropes as a way of criticising the film.
How’d he do it? Cold, hard jingoism, of course. The people can’t get enough of America’s war machines. Plus, those planes go real fast, causing many audience members to turn their heads and say, “Wow, look at ‘em go!”
Call this an out there theory but even though hard work is no guarantee of success, it does help improve your odds and I don’t think anyone disputes Tom Cruise works very hard indeed.
Sorry, but any episode that expands the Danny-Karen Brazzers storyline (and takes it to a new level) by definition can’t be an A. Even before the cringe confession and stalking, I had problems with Danny and Karen in the same room, along with Ed and Karen in the same room getting along famously. With Karen, Ron Moore…
It’s also a weird rabbit hole to go down. If he is saying it is inauthentic for a straight actor to play a gay character does that also mean his Philadelphia character should be played by someone who is HIV positive if the movie was made today? But being HIV+ is not the death sentence it was in 1993 so does that mean…
So...skid marks?
Don’t worry. She’ll get around to fucking up something you care about eventually.
The reality that they don’t understand is that nobody shares just one service. My parents pay for Prime, Paramount+, and Disney+. I access their accounts in exchange for access to my Netflix, Hulu+, HBO Max, and Shudder. I guarantee we aren’t the only people doing this. Streamers want to be a cable alternative but you…
Whether it’s “made up” or not, it’s something they have to demonstrate a desire to do something about (even if it’s not a sincere desire), or the board is going to get replaced with folks by activists shareholders who will do something about it.
They already limit how many people can watch at once (one at a time on the lowest tier plan) which is reasonable and keeps any password sharing among people you’d trust. If someone lets their parents use their Netflix account they either have to spring for an expensive multi-user plan or never use it at the same time.
Well, as long as he doesn’t give up his trademark rambling intros, weird obsession with not being on SNL and barely knowing anything about his guests....
