Narrator: It is not.

They need to keep trimming the cast through off-screen scandal, feud, or just making a character incredibly unlikeable, until the whole show is just a series of establishing shots of New York bars and brunch places.

season 2 was so good that i don’t know how it could be topped... but i’m looking forward to this regardless :)

Perhaps the gray hair discussion with Sophie was lampshading how rapidly he must be graying in order to match up with the flashforward. . .

Well it did kind of strike me a little weird, he told Sophie the day before Kate’s wedding to Philip that his beard was coming in gray. For a guy as old as Justin Hartley is, I’d believe that should happen, facial hair seems to gray before head hair, but in the years up to and past Miguel’s death, it’s not coming in

I feel like Connelly is actually meant to be playing Kelly McGillis’ character, since she and Cruise are meant to be playing two older ex-flames with a weighty history between them.

Series finales can be so hit or miss, but the way this season has gone so far, I’m really optimistic This Is Us is going to stick the landing.

I don’t understand how you don’t realize that there things that other people like that you may not. I don’t know why people line up to watch mindless movies about superheros or horribly long things about hobbits, but I understand that some people have different taste than me.

I've never worked somewhere that had an HR dept that wouldn't do everything to bury me if I filed a complaint.  They aren't really there for regular workers

He seems confused as to why people are trying to prevent unwanted touching in acting when he used to get away with it before.  Just because things used to work that way, doesn’t mean they still do, and its his responsibility to follow the rules like everyone else.  This isn’t about his age, but his refusal to adapt

I guess his point is that it’s hard to make it look like you’re having sex passionately and spontaneously if your actions have to be precisely determined beforehand - particularly I guess for an actor who probably hasn’t been in a lot of choreographed fight scenes (probably the only place where that level of precision

Meanwhile Cara Delevingne’s eyebrows, in their first credited role, will play the murderer.

I’m still waiting for someone to explain what the hell happened with Margueles and Punjabi in the final seasons of The Good Wife. Having to shoot joint scenes separately using green screen, etc., feels wildly unprofessional, and I’m amazed that no one involved has ever spilled the beans about what was happening. Those

Cruise called it “far and away the most dangerous thing I’ve attempted.”

Greg?!

I got a real kick out of how, regardless of the ending, the big mystery of “Who did Kevin hook up with last night?” from the previous episode turned out to be NO ONE. That was plenty subverting expectations for me.

Was I the only one creeped out by the card in the wallet? While Kevin was having sex with a parade of women over the years, he was keeping a Valentine answered by a 7 year old in his wallet?

For those who aren’t wondering, Dipsy Doodle is a real pinball machine from the early 70’s by Williams.

I loved her performance in Hidden Fences
