I always thought that scene was surely supposed to be funny, but I read so many people complaining about it that I guess it was supposed to be serious? I think it’s the second funniest sex scene ever filmed (next to the Lindsey Lohan sex scene in I Know Who Killed Me).

Funny, Mother is my least favorite, and Snowpiercer one of my favorites (but nothing tops Memories of Murder, yet).  But I agree, he apparently has great taste in movies.

Loved the reveal that Omundson wasn’t just a random asshole for Kate to defeat and be the most precious perfect person ever, like this show definitely would have done in the first couple seasons. They’ve definitely gotten more self-aware about that kind of thing, and I’m hoping to see more of him.

Would EJ really be Vikram’s child? I mean, Vik was an Indian character played by an Egyptian actor, so I guess it wouldn’t be surprising for a TV show to cast an East Asian actor as the offspring, especially since I’m not feeling too generous toward The Affair these days.
