Instead of finding common ground across societies and cultures on the predominance of light skinned women being prizes, we see the collective consciousness tearing down ‘Asians’ for being white supremacist lapdogs at the worst and ignorantly privileged at best.

Your indignant catharsis is posting on Jez, not generational suffering under a white supremacist society. What has the internet done to really turn the tide in POC favor? It’s a release valve that white people can walk away from any time they want.

Oh no, I’m all about that “nobody giving a damn”. I don’t expect anyone who isn’t part of some group to be understood by anyone outside of that group, no matter the group. It’s a waste of time, a dead idea. Nobody has a fucking clue what’s going on outside of their own view and group and they only make things worse…

Yeah, racism is a problem among many Asian immigrants. As I said above though, not all Asians are faring well in American society and that you lump all Asians together in some monolithic bloc shows just how otherly Asians are in American society.

That’s not to say he doesn’t consider relationships with brown women. Like Dev, Aziz Ansari’s character in Master of None, “Kumail” gives brown women a fleeting chance. His parents force interaction upon interaction with with fresh-off-the-boat, mostly-accented, traditionally-dressedbrown women who eagerly hand him…

Since you’re not asian, you can’t be expected to understand what it’s like to be within a stone’s throw of acceptance but always kept at arm’s length fulfilling the role of yes men. Don’t try to understand it, you can’t, you’re not asian and don’t have the lived experience.
