I’ve heard that cyans specifically can be hard to grow indoors due to their fruiting mechanism wanting some very specific conditions - do you have some outdoor space you use for the purpose? At the very least I’d like to do some mycelium growing so I can spread the love to the wood chipped areas around me.

That’s useful baseline for most mushrooms but I would still avoid consumption without doing a spore print and reconciling their visual characteristics against a plethora of potential candidates.
