try to remove a deceased parent’s head one time and they label you brain damaged...unbelievable
I think you’ve completely misinterpreted the article. You say the Lions “They absolutely don’t stew over his non-participation,” but:
The Lions want CJ to be a team ambassador; spreading goodwill and cheer, probably in person as well as through various media channels. They want to use CJ’s likeness, his person, his image, his time, and whatever social/media networks he has.
tone is subjective. I think 100% of this argument is in your own reading of it.
It is a simple ask, as simple as a price tag.
He isn’t “owed” anything, no; the Lions took that money back in full accordance with the contract he signed in accordance with the CBA.
You: Still don’t understand how anyone in their right mind would think he is owed something.
Let me try again. He signed an extension largely because they had a QB entering his prime and he most likely trusted that they had a shot to win big. Then they promptly failed to surround these guys with anything meaningful. Making the playoffs a couple of years means nothing to a generational talent if you can’t win…

there’s something truly comical about the organization that voluntarily pays Matthew Stafford almost 2 million per game deciding to have tight purse strings when dealing with one of the most dynamic players in league history
The reactions of barstool fans says it all.
I think after a drink or two everyone involved would admit it’s personal. I don’t read barstool either because like the writers here I have a different view of the world than the guys at barstool, but if you click on some of her links up there, you’ll see it’s pretty bad.
What do you care? You’re clearly already against it. Why are you here? What do you think you’re going to change?
I’m learning there is always going to be someone like you in the comments.
Fandom gatekeeping. What a twist.
Several years ago I was flying to Mexico for a vacation. We were stuck on the tarmac for about 45 minutes for whatever fuck up the airline had created that day. There was a little boy, probably about 4, seated across the aisle and two rows behind me. His parents had come prepared with several different bits of…
