Maybe. Or the sales gap between the original 3DS and 3DS XL was so huge in the US that they decided it isn't the highest priority? It would be weird if they didn't release it at all.
I was damn drunk when I wrote that. I should get drunk more often.
Definitely disappointed—I'd wanted the smaller one white one, myself. I like the colour of the buttons, and the customisable faceplates. The AC adapter situation isn't doing me any favours either; I plan on giving my current 3DS to my best friend, along with A Link Between Worlds. I still can, but now I'll have to…
I'm totally going to call my sister "Jennessica" now.
It REALLY depends on the situation. My "best" friend introduced me to my now fiance during a night out. From the moment I told her I developed feelings for him she was bitter and resentful. Before you say anything—she did not like him in that way and she was already juggling three guys at the same time. We dated for 3…
This is awesome. I am sad I never had a seester.
The visual of a ghostly MoH at a hotel bar during a destination wedding is so glorious. I just imagine a lot of duckface and piña coladas...
Yuuuuuup. My sister pretty much told me that if I didn't agree with her marrying my then to be future BIL, I didn't have to be in the wedding.
I understand the desire to stay close to a friend in that situation to support them, but I feel deeply that it is a bad idea to stand up at a wedding one does not approve of. Take, for instance, the story of my Dear Boyfriend and his Best Friend.
My sister had a very close guy friend who she had previously dated years and years before. When he got engaged, he asked her to be in the wedding and she very excitedly accepted. It was only AFTER she bought the bridesmaid's dress that his fiancee told her she didn't want her in the bridal party after all. My sister…
My sister axed a longtime friend who was unresponsive and bitchy (eg refusing to respond to my - the MOH- requests for info and complaining about the cost of the bridesmaid dress but then taking a number of booze cruises prior to the wedding) about 8 months before her wedding. It took a toll on their friendship but it…
If bachelorette parties aren't the time for inappropriate flirting, what is even the point of them?
The MoH couldn't cancel her airfare for the destination wedding and ended up haunting the same resort area during the wedding, posting selfies from the bar.
So this ended up being the opposite of kicking everyone out (although it started out that way) For my brother's wedding-my sister in law has a long standing beef with one of her sisters and to cut down on drama decided to not have any family members in the wedding party. Except the one sister she likes. Needless to…
Long story, but the lesson learned: No matter how well-meaning, holding an intervention for your friend's ill-advised engagement is a good way to get kicked out of the wedding party. And if she changes her mind and re-invites you, make sure you reply within an hour or she'll dis-invite you. Again.
Two quick things:
Oh yeah. Been there. I've got huge breasts, so I often have to stuff them into things, and during one stuff-and-adjust, I lost my grip and slammed into my chin and bit my tongue. I started to cry because I was so mad at myself.
This is how I feel about washing your face and having a finger randomly slip up your nose and result in a blood geyser courtesy of a sharp fingernail. It's just, like, normal.
People can live their lives without face scrub induced nose bleeds and random self-punches?? whaaaaaaat
Wizards.
Oh, if this has never happened to you yet... it will. Never bloody nose level for me (fingers crossed) but I have hit myself in the face numerous times.
