I disagree. Age 5 is the sweet spot. They’re fun. They’re able to dress themselves and go to the bathroom on their own. The frustration tantrums are mostly done and over with, and you can start to reason with them.

Crayola Color wonder and the accompanying paper are godsends. Seriously. There are also 100% “ultra-clean” washable markers now. My 2 year old will regularly paint herself into a rainbow with the washable markers, and after a quick bath and she’s back to factory settings.

I literally cannot remember the last time I ordered something off of amazon. There’s nothing on there I can’t find at target, walmart or the myriad of local places that sell stuff. Most of them offer free in store pickup too so I don’t have to waste time searching for stuff.

I’m irritated, certainly, but when target got hacked it didn’t stop me from shopping at target. This isn’t going to stop me from getting my gas at Wawa. 

oooffff..... considering that pregnant waitress is doing all that AND she almost definitely doesn’t have health insurance through her job she most assuredly deserves a bigger tip. And someone to rub her feet. And paid maternity leave.
