Saw a sad thread on a meme site of users complaining that Larson isn’t funny and is ‘boomer humor’. Made me really angry that a community whose sense of humor is defined by irony and morbidity wouldn’t understand the magic of Larson.

The last good Final Fantasy game to me. (if you don’t count the MMO games)

I think Shadows of the Empire was one of the first games on N64, and as such I played it a billion times and enjoyed how you could get into a semi-dev mode and just clip around fuck things up with the game. Was pretty great.

As someone here said last week. If they don’t stick the landing it’s the journey. That landing I think came very close. To humanize a superhero/god in the moments of death Manhattan/Cal was genuinely great and it was surprisingly moving. The mechanics to get there were fine in a kind of techno-forward dance club…

Anyone else feel like they no longer give a damn about cinematic trailers? I either want to see game play or in-engine shenanigans. I just get bored by these cinematic trailers that really give us no sense of the game itself.
