Dull? I’ll tell you what’s dull - the dude reminding everyone yesterday that the laughable ask on that ‘less than bitchin’ was “FOR CHARITY!” We can read.

Perfect. No dent and NO GOD AWFUL “GOLD PACKAGE”. NP

This is the model I think of when I hear Camry and every one I see on the road now looks beat to hell. Very clean, never knew it even came with an MT.

One part of me says this is infinitely better than anything you can buy today unless you have north of $50K to spend. And another part of me says life is too short to drive boring cars.

Are we really sure it’s a Camry without the “Camry Dent” in the rear bumper?

I regularly drive a Neon ACR that was shipped with roll-up windows, no AC, and no radio. I am in favor of cheap de-contented fun daily drivers.

Yes! Versa SE-R sounds awesome! Can we bring back the cheap “slow car fast” sedan! the days of the 1st gen SE-R, Jetta GLi, Shadow Turbo IV

I read about a guy that bought a crapcan BMW for 20K with a pregnant wife that really should’ve got that Soul

Spoiler alert! He got a charger and declared bankruptcy

Something called Zinc? Like, Zinc? Am I missing something here?

His wife also drives, I assume that’s their combined household gas budget.

Yup. A whopping four days of paid sick leave for some of the most physically and mentally grueling occupations today. They could have gotten more had they gone on strike and then some. But “the most progressive president since FDR” stabbed them in the back. And even with this meager achievement, not all rail workers

Joining a picket line and speaking to a picket line are two different things.

*Gibberish in a microphone* I’m just like you guys... I promise..

I’m a bit lost as to how they have a combined 120k income, but credit cards a 20k bimmer, followed by a 35k charger ruined their finances? Something is missing, like is he also a degenerate gambler? do they have a huge mortgage?

Honestly, you’re probably right. If people made all of the actual good financial decisions we say they should, probably at least 25% of consumer spending would stop tomorrow.

But if people made good financial decisions, our economy would collapse like *snap*...

There are probably thousands of better options than what he picked though. City design aside, there are much more practical ways of dealing with this. Alot of this seems like “wants” vs “needs”. a 20k BMW? Sounds like a bad idea already. A dodge charger? also sounds like a bad idea period.

Let’s not let him off that easy. There’s “not being good at finances” and then there’s making incredibly dumb and selfish decisions. This man falls firmly in the latter. Going out and buying an $80k sports car after finding out your wife is pregnant is supremely dumb for their income level. She needs to leave that guy

I think the reason they are reacting the way they are is because they were less cautious than their competitors. All these companies bought in “whole hog” to go BEV and did not further develop ICE offerings for that market. Their competitors did continue to develop ICE models. This means, in 2030, they will only have

Why push back the date of ICE, but ban diesel immediately? Making the emission requirements equal seems to be fair.
