Back in the mid-2000s when my age group were graduating from college. Getting that new 3-series, A4, Wrangler, F150 etc. We used to call them 50k-millionaires.

Yeah I’ve found a few times right around major life events that I’ll buy the “toy” that I previously wanted due to more income or a special deal, and then not have the time / desire to use it anymore after the life event.

Wow, what a total buzzkill you are. (You are also correct. Wisdom is recognizing that those two things very often go together in life.)

This car is pure sex. You’re out of your fucking mind.

You could not possibly be more wrong.

Gonna go a bit left field on this one, but some of the worst interiors for the year and price were Bangle-Era BMW’s. I actually think the exteriors aged quite well, the interiors not so much. There’s no way it would have stayed buried for decades if there was anything to it.

You can’t discount it because you don’t believe it. We now the government is a deep black hole and it’s quite easy to hide things for decades.

Oh please, teenagers are going to have sex whether it is in a Yugo or a Winnebago if they want to. The best you can do is make sure they are safe with it. Give ‘em something they can be comfortable in and they are more likely to remember the condoms than if they are frantically scrambling to get comfortable.

Typical daytime yes, but commutes are most often morning and evening, and particularly in the morning it’s closer to the low temp for the day which does regularly get down to below -10.
