Seems the newer ones are far more troublesome than the older ones, so that’s not surprising.

We’ve had a handful of BAD Toyotas and Hondas. Completely spaced those when this question came up.

That Pacifica has turned me off of modern Chrysler completely.

I mean, the new Sienna is plagued with issues as well. 

Oddly enough we have half a dozen other Chryslers in the family and they’ve been nothing but bulletproof reliable, that’s why I took a gamble on the Pacifica.

I would say it’s more an issue of people complain when they get pulled over for being idiots and end up suing police.....

Depending on how much time your vans spends in ICE mode, it may not happen til well over 150k.

The Hybrids don’t have the HG issues as early due to them not running the gas engine as often and having better cooling.

Na, just pointing out that a permit or license does not make someone magically responsible or good either.

While I understand the sentiment, there’s plenty of 40-50yos who’ve had a license for decades who still can’t control a vehicle in adverse conditions.... Having a permit/license does not make one a better driver.

Na. I’ll keep my wonderful engine sounds and unburned fuel smells.

I’ll stick with my ICE vehicles until they get things sorted to actually work.
