American Excess in full effect yet again, completely negating the whole purpose of EVs.
American Excess in full effect yet again, completely negating the whole purpose of EVs.
I’m sorry it hit so close to home for you...
I mean, the dude in the “enthusiast car” ripping everywhere is what the average person labels an enthusiast so......
Ah, so it’s only okay for enthusiasts in “enthusiast” vehicles to drive like asshats, got it.....
4Runner, GX, and Bronco are the only SUVs on this list.
Imagine thinking the vehicle makes the enthusiast.....
Me over here looking for the SUVs anywhere in this....
And these are overly large, underpowered, and generally slow.
According to most people, “safety features” don’t add weight, so where’s the excuse?
If we focused on making a vehicle that’s efficient, affordable, and properly sized, there’s no reason we can’t have 60+ mpg vehicles today.
Karen would however much rather…
Those bitches will clip 85 mph on the interstate while still pulling 50 mpg.
I’d gladly daily that over anything listed here.
Nothing like needing a hybrid powertrain and 40 years of tech advancements to average worse economy that a lot of vehicles did in the late 80s.....
#advancement
That’s a pretty nice looking minivan.
Too bad they forgot the sliding doors.
Ah yes, Forbes. An extremely reliable source of non biased, non agenda based reporting.....
“Lots of people have already done these well-to-wheel comparisons, and EV’s always come out ahead because that’s the current agenda”
*FIFY
Problem is, until it is figured out and until someone looks at the whole picture, saying one is cleaner than the other is nothing more than BS from either side.
In the current situation, EVs aren’t the cure all, period.
Now, what about the train moving the coal?
Now what about the trucks getting the coal to the trains?
Now what about the ships getting the coal to the trucks?
Now what about the trucks getting the coal to the ships?
Now what about the mines getting the coal for the trucks?
People need to stop looking at the immediate…
How much efficiency do the trains, trucks, power plants, mines, etc fueling those power plants have vs getting the fuel.
You have to look at the whole picture, not just the vehicle itself. The vehicle can be 100% clean, but if everything powering it and producing it is doubling emissions, it’s not helping.
It’s also not in the EPA’s wheelhouse to make and enforce laws, yet here they are doing just that.
Data also neglects maintenance.
Without maintenance records included, reliability data overall is inaccurate.
When you learn the EPA doesn’t have the power to make and enforce laws yet they’ve been illegally doing so for years......
Huh, who’d have thought..... The EPA yet again making demands with no valid plan on how to achieve them.
