They can’t rage on what they can’t see

Well sure, except then everyone suffers.

These always worked well

1. The 3.6 sounds like shit as well.

but that can’t make up for the remainder of the surfaces or the overall style which is typical for GM’s chintzy era.

I love that people still rip on GM for this, yet almost every modern vehicle is guilty of this and worse, they just hide it behind a giant screen and fancy tech.

I’ll give it a Nice Price just because it’s cheap transport in nice shape, which is a rare find these days.

If it was the 3.9L with the 6-speed manual, I’d be going to pick it up myself because no matter how “crappy” the car was, that combo was absolutely amazing.

As someone who commutes 40 miles one way, regularly deals with -20° weather, and has zero infrastructure in their area. I can tell you EVERY ONE of those things is in fact a HUGE deal breaker.

I mean I carried 3 kids in modern car seats in one of these

I love how people get so up in arms when a state actually sticks up for what it’s people want, meanwhile they are entirely ok with the fed shoving things down their throats.

Anyone who thinks EVs are actually going to solve anything needs their head examined. It’s just pushing the problem out from under their nose, so

They’re both terrible to see out of compared to the Challenger.
I actually found the Challenger to be easy to see out of for a modern car.

Well of course not.
The CUV is compromised on everything.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself.
It’s a minivan for people too insecure to admit they needed a minivan.

Well sure, if you omit age/heat/climate that take a severe toll on those tires and how they perform.

Drive with a set of those Michelins to wear them down, then do a proper test of worn tire vs new.

Meanwhile you can buy a set of Douglas All Seasons from Walmart and have a damn good all season that will easily last 40k miles and gives great winter traction.

My winter tires ARE Altimax RT43s.

Man, if that guy thinks the Challenger is terrible to see out of, wait til he drives a Camaro or a Mustang.

CUVs are just sliderless minivans anyway.

I live in WI, snow isn’t an excuse either.

Quite a few 1st/2nd gen Eclipses still around lacking synchros, just snag one of those.
The kid will either wreck it completely, or they’ll know how to rev match perfectly every shift.

Oddly enough, quite a few of the “kids” in our school were still driving their first cars well after college.

Just because your town is apparently incapable of teaching vehicle care doesn’t mean no one else does.
