I’m so sorry that happened. The way mental illness is stigmatized is tragic, infuriating and dangerous. I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone and there have been times when I’ve been ashamed to pick up my meds because I was worried about what the pharmacist would think about me.

Yeah, I realize some people have problems with Fallon but have we really reached a place where we’re crapping ourselves because one late-night comedian wasn’t quite as outraged as the other? If you’re looking for moral guidance from either of these guys, you’re doing it wrong.
It’s crazy. He got a six month sentence, which means he’ll probably serve one at the most and because he is who he is, he’ll do that time in extra protective custody. He’ll probably end up in the medical unit, which is probably the cushiest.
