“ I believe in a culture of life”... unless that life happens to be black, brown, female, LGBTQ+, kids being shot up in their classrooms, immigrants, refugees, jewish, muslim, disabled, poor, or homeless. Yeah, exclude all those groups and sure it looks like a “culture of life.”

I’ve always known I didn’t have kids and I feel the same way you did. I’m actually good with kids and I could have done it, if I’d had to, but it’s not what I would choose for myself.

Many Americans just cannot believe a person prefers to be alone and enjoy their own company. I know that may vary in other countries.

I agree. In my case, I realized pretty early on that I don’t want kids, but that I actually think I could be good parent if I had to. It’s just not something I want.

It’s fucking sad that in the futuristic year of 2023, it’s still headline-worthy for a woman to say she doesn’t want kids.

I head him speak on NPR a while back (barf!). One of his most popular talking points is voter suppression (that NPR didn’t push back on): raising the voting age to 25, unless you take a test or something. And he’s all-in on pardoning Trump and somehow unimpeaching Trump for his prior impeachments.

Personally, don’t believe he’s a threat. I just think the MAGAts or even most Republicans will NOT vote for an Indian guy. I don’t care how much of a useful idiot he is.
