Gilbert Gottfried has always been a filthy comedian, long before he ever did work in children’s films.

Is Jeff Rosenstock not considered punk? Is POST- showing up on a different list?

“I know a girl named Lisa/she eatin all that pizza"

If Comedy Central did this for The Colbert Report I would never have to leave my apartment!

I keep telling you, she's 73 years old and she's dead.

I love Norm. It was the Stephen Merchant episode of Norm MacDonald Live that caused me to realize that Norm was both a lot funny than I had previously given him credit for, and an incredibly, fascinatingly odd person. But “The victims didn’t have to go through that...” yeah, that comes off very poorly.

I will say, I do

Very high. I’m pretty sure any time that dude is acting in a professional capacity, be it in his standup, on his podcast, or even doing promotion, he is being almost completely insincere.

Having watched a few too many episodes of Norm MacDonald Live, I’m nearly 100% certain Norm himself has no “handler.” There was probably a Netflix rep there doing irreparable damage to their own scalp though.

This is funny, because the Sandler/Farley years were infamously maligned while they were occurring. People were saying the same thing about that cast you're saying about the current one.

The Big Lebowski doesn’t have much of a plot either, to be fair. Or at least, the plot is largely inconsequential in regards to enjoying the film.

I totally agree about Kumail. Him and Schrab have such a great playfully antagonistic dynamic and the 300th episode reminded how much I missed it.

I don’t know, the “Ruthie” episode of BoJack Horseman was pretty damn fantastic. Probably the second best episode of that entire series. And I'd probably even put "The Old Sugarman Place" above "Pickle Rick."

Episode 300 had me laughing harder than I have in a long time.

He also won an Emmy for writing lyrics, along with Rob Schrab and Ben Schwartz, for Hugh Jackman’s opening musical number when he hosted the Oscars. This is his second, I believe.

“Damon’s bugnuts performance is profane, snotty, and terrifyingly prescient in terms of the era’s particular brand of pop-punk douchebag.”

Lil B was doing this same thing months ago.

This is also sounds somewhat reminiscent of one of the most underrated films in recent memory - 2009's Moon. Duncan Jones showed so much promise back then...

I truly do not mean to be rude, but I think you’re using the word “neoliberal” wrong. Neoliberalism refers to laissez-faire free market capitalism, a right wing economic perspective. It has nothing to do with liberalism in the leftist, Democratic sense.

Why is this even being reviewed on The AV Club? Why contribute to the increasingly depressing and wholly manufactured culture war?

Zoe Kazan is Elia Kazan’s granddaughter, and on what planet does that make her complicit in his involvement with the HUAC? Ridiculous.

He hasn’t done anything publicly with Faraci since 2015, as far as I can tell. Also, being friends with someone doesn’t mean you condone everything they do or are even aware of all
