The people behind the Bachelor franchise are reality TV producers. They do not mean well.

It is. I hate it almost as much as “it’s giving.”

Have Nathan return playing Asher’s older brother, Gad.

My Momma Told Me has a great OJ episode where Shaun Diston explains the theory that OJ's son Jason committed the murders.

Certainly not the only reason for doing this, but they explicitly acknowledge the Simpsons bit in their press release, as noted in the article. It’s not a prediction if Cypress Hill is acknowledging their awareness of the thing they’re planning on doing having already occurred on The Simpsons. I don’t think this

Getting a little sick of something happening that is clearly a deliberate homage to an old Simpsons joke and people saying, “Wow, The Simpsons predicted it again!”

Oppenheimer was pretty pointedly not nominated for Best Visual Effects.

You acclimate to the shaggy dog, patchwork aesthetic within the first few minutes. The amount of goofy, crude animation in the movie is kind of overwhelming, in a great way.

Who is Sarah?

I think trying to cram everything into one movie has a greater danger of overcomplicating the film vs giving it room to breathe across multiple. I don’t think 2.5 hours is enough time to adequately tell the core story of Link and Zelda protecting Hyrule from Ganon while also allowing for enough world building to

It made a billion dollars and was...perfectly fine. Good for a kids movie. I would think a Zelda movie needs more crossover appeal with adults than the Mario and Sonic movies, particularly if they’re doing live-action.

The only way to do this right in live-action is do it as a trilogy, give it an LOTR size budget, build a ton of massive, practical sets and shoot on location as much as possible. You explore a different region/culture in each trilogy - Zora, Goron, Gerudo. You have to treat it with gravitas and not go all Taika

It’s kind of an impossible movie to neatly file away into any single genre. It changes tones several times throughout. It starts out as a black comedy sort of couched in a psychological thriller, kind of turns into an Oddysey-esque hero's journey tale with a beautiful but overlong animated sequence in the middle, then

I’m gonna tug and grown my foreskin back again.

Triumph of the Will?

I don't know, it was pretty funny when he accidentally showed his dick to the entire world.

Nah - it's Michelle Yeoh's.

I’m guessing there’s an article coming from a reputable publication like the LA Times, they’ve been contacted about it, and they’re dropping him in advance to try to get out in front of it.

I don’t believe it’s just the domestic abuse charge that's costing him jobs. Based on everything being shared about him on Twitter, I’m expecting a massive Ronan Farrow-esque article on him to be published any day now.

What’s with the moving camera for the two shot? Is that something TDS with Trevor Noah has always done? Seems very unnecessary for shooting an interview.
