No she clearly wasn't.
I just said this somewhere else in these comments, but just because she chose to remain polite and cordial in the e-mails rather than confrontational doesn't mean her feelings are invalid. Do you how many times I'll be out in public and someone will make some dumb joke about me being Asian, and I

It astounds me that so many people think a comedian going on a podcast and having a conversation is a PR stunt, or that a comedy podcast is some sort of huge public platform from which to make a statement.
"The media" didn't pick up her comments and make a big deal out of them. Vulture and Jezebel did, and then a

This is the second time I've seen this template…what is it a reference to?

You implied it was a calculated move on Margaret Cho's part, to get publicity. If you know anything about Margaret Cho, you know she's the kind of person who will just speak her mind on a subject.

Again, blame the culture which lumps us all together and forces us to have a singular identity as "Asian-American."

Don't blame Margaret Cho for lumping all of Asians together into one category. When I fill out a form, there's no "Filipino-American" option. Just "Asian-American." Not quite sure how that's Margaret Cho's fault.

You joke, but Swinton actually kinda tries to make that point in one of her e-mails, trying to deflect the conversation in that direction.

Yes, clearly this was a PR stunt. Whenever anybody wants to make a bunch of noise, they always do it as a guest on BOBBY. LEE'S. PODCAST.

I did exactly this (saw Rogue One at my local AMC for the lower ticket prices and smaller crowd) this morning and now I am mildly disturbed.

Godzilla: King Ralph of the Monsters, Inc.

I'm deceptively high right now, if you know what I mean.

I love Paul F. Tompkins, love Comedy Bang! Bang! I try so hard to like this show, but it just doesn't do it for me.

I think California was the worst choice. Given that it was such a throwback to their old sound, one of the jokier titles they were considering would've fit a lot better. I personally like No Hard Feelings. OB-GYN Kenobi was good too.

Funnily enough though, his mom's name is Heather Matarazzo. But not that one.

She has to get nominated first. Best Actress is so competitive this year, the only sure things right now are Emma Stone and Annette Bening. Natalie Portman is a safe bet, and Isabelle Huppert is making a solid case for herself right now. Amy Adams, Ruth Negga, Taraji P. Henson, Meryl Streep are all strong contenders.

It's definitely a grower. And all the Feldmann "Woah-ohs" and "na na nas" are overkill. But it's a fun, catchy album. It's like a bizarro version of TOYPAJ.

I think it's interesting that Chance and Kanye both put out projects that would be immensely improved if you take one track off of them, All Night and 30 Hours respectively. You take All Night off of Coloring Book and it's an AOTY contender, that's how much I dislike that song. 30 Hours actually isn't that bad but

$ORO really blew my mind the first time I heard it, was not expecting that at all.

Go Tell Fire to the Mountain is one of my all-time favorite albums, and I think Spiritual Songs comes pretty close. But yeah, I&I and $ORO are the standouts for sure, and Lament is great, though I prefer Ellery Robert's earlier version.

I'm guessing we're all gonna do this, right?
