I don't see how Henry having a "white" name and not acknowledging his ethnicity is an example of whitewashing. I'm visibly Asian-American with a very white sounding name, and I don't walk around telling people about how Asian I am all the time. It very very rarely ever comes up.

I came into this season with tempered expectations but I think it's been as good as it possibly could be so far. This episode, Advanced Safety Features, and Queer Studies and Advanced Waxing all made me laugh a lot. This season's as good as Season 5 was after 8 episodes, maybe even funnier. To me, at least.

This was maybe the funniest episode yet this season. I don't understand this grade at all.

Sorry, that was excessively aggressive. Talking during movies is one of my biggest pet peeves. My goal is to sort of forget that anything exists, even myself, during a movie, and talking, or people noisily snacking, usually gets in the way of achieving that. I even get annoyed if I'm just casually watching a TV show…

The only goof that bugged me was the tip off at the beginning of the 2nd half. Whichever team had the possession arrow at the end of the 2nd quarter would in-bound the ball at the start of the 3rd quarter. C'mon, Fresh Off the Boat writers, did NONE of you play little league basketball?!

To be fair, the verse he ends with the word "f***ot" is him calling himself one. Context is kind of important.
