@Shakatany: That's my leading guess.
@Shakatany: That's my leading guess.
@Bangarang: That was my understanding, too.
I've often thought the Dodo and the Thylacine would be two "top of the liners".
@Arsnof: [primitive humor]
@bluehinter: True. I agree with Anders' hypothesis that the episode was supposed to be some parable on society, and it's obviously not so much about the Dominator-culture (since they're basically your standard Space Nazis for the most part).
@bluehinter: What I like the most about The Dominators is the little glimmer into Dulcian culture, that a more recent episode probably would have played up more.
@bddcuda: Before, it was just honeybees, not bumblebees.
Want to make the video even more traumatic?
Now, obviously there's a chance she's still wearing them in the "next week..." bit, due to not being able to remove them.
@illustrator...er: A while ago, I saw or read (it may have been a TED thing) the Amazing Randi talking about him talking with a pal of his who is the head of some national (maybe international?) committee that looks into the paranormal/supernatural/parasensory/etc..
@ringer81: Recently, some sharp cookies came up with a digital camera whose lens is basically a half disco-ball of hemispheres, thus allowing the focus to be adjusted after the picture is taken (but before it's printed, if one is to print it).
@ringer81: I had a "Blade Runner? Really?" moment when seeing the list, purely due to the pan & scan photograph bit (wherein our hero is apparently able to see around corners in a photo, given the right software).
@Roklimber: If you Partner with them (viz: [www.youtube.com] ), you get the longer limit.
@chakrabs: Would it not be easy enough to take the raw data, transpose it into Base Five (or Base Thirteen, or whatever), and see if it still applies?
@JuanDieGomez: Thank you!
@Don Ducharme: I know that's been my fan-theory for decades now.
@fskornia: That's actually a good idea.
@Obee Juan: Yeah. As far as I can tell, it'd generally mean your average chocolate farmer(yes, I'm totally picturing a farm with cows that give chocolate milk and chickens that lay Cadburry eggs...)'s crop-yield could be used for gourmet markets.
Not to cut & paste from a comment I made in a LiveJournal community or anything, but...
