@Udo Schroeter: I too will freely admit that about halfway through, I started to fast-forward through the dream sequences (so I could get back to the hot off-world triffid action)

@Johann Schmidt: Ah! That explains why it and the previous one wasn't up, there!

@Illundiel: Actually, I believe the complaint is about the Slimer! parts.

From what I can tell in the flashes of them, the werewolves seem like they might more resemble the old b&w werewolves instead of the more wolf-faced ones that came about around American Werewolf in London.

Now playing

So it's basically We Came In Peace: The Movie?

@jccalhoun: I know that it's "just" a kids' show, but I really wish they'd put more detail into the antagonist.

@Charlie Jane Anders: I really liked the idea of the Slitheen when they first showed up; not some pan-galactic menace, but just a family-gang that decided to make a (relatively) small-time profit off of a backwater planet. I liked enough, I can easily forget all the fart jokes.

Four minutes in, and they murder a sentient (albeit homicidal) being?!

@sidestepper: I think I wouldn't even mind an attempt at a bad sequel for Buckaroo Banzai.

@Annalee Newitz: And I'm often surprised (and amused. Surprused? Amised?) at how so many death-metal lyrics read like a really slip-shod Google Language translation.

@Pessimippopotamus: I quite liked their turtle heads and their odd chitinous hands.

@3in1Doctor: They could do like last time, and have Lou re-appear at the start of next episode, "Whew! Wasn't that surprising and unlikely! Moving on..."

@jackdavinci: The one who was working with Eli on the home-bridge?

@SpinachPuffs: Or at least have some internal debate about, "Ok, I can observe the honor system and make this one my last, or I can continue on, which is the route usually taken only by homicidal despots."

I hope I wasn't the only one who was hoping Milo, in his muttering near the end, would say, "...end of line".

@Chuck: I see it as comparable to two cars going down either side of an icy road. Car One clips Car Two; Car One just has a minor dent and is able to keep going. Car Two starts spinning out of control, to the point of flipping over a few times.

I've always loved the little newscasts and transcripts and things that pop up as in-betweeners in this series of books!
