The 2008 series already made KITT a Transformer. It was not a good idea.

Please, please, please let this be the time they get Knight Rider right. The original show was awesome (in a cheesy-as-hell ‘80s way), and we’ve had a bushel of assorted reboots that ranged from mediocre to aggressively terrible.
