I realized last night that Season 4 of Arrested Development, which I consider to be the start of our current era of reboots and revivals...

El Camino didn’t work for me for a couple reasons.

Yeah, I’m curious how it will work too, because of all the reasons you mentioned. I suspect most people will probably play through something for nostalgia’s sake, but I’m guessing the “best way” will be BFA followed by Legion.

First and foremost, they are reducing the level cap to 60. That’s the biggest change.

Yeah, it’s very much a one trick pony. I thought a good portion of the jokes were pretty good in 2009, but having very similar jokes in 2012 and then again in 2019 (especially 2019) was a bit tired. I was not expecting anything different at all, and there wasn’t anything different. I was largely indifferent to the

Personally I think it’s because humor is so subjective. Some people think Borderlands is hilarious, some don’t. The old point and click/text adventure games (Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island, etc) weren’t universally funny, either. They were explicitly unserious games that were written as such, and the focus was

There are downloadable save files out there, and you get at least one free character and palico edit.  So if you really wanted to, you could just download somebody else’s save and re-edit the character and palico.

Rey being literally just a random person would be a refreshing step for Star Wars, which currently appears to function as some kind of genetic lottery/monarchy where the most powerful Force users we’ve seen just so happen to be from one of two families.

I took the question to be asking when the Star Wars fandom hit the fever pitch that has been shown in the last 20 years or so, not what caused individuals to become superfans.

I think the big change for all fandoms is the rise of the internet.

Eps 7-9, while enjoyable suffered from The Last Jedi not moving the story forward.

Yes. As a guy who was “blessed” with my family’s thighs that are just naturally on the larger side, even if I wasn’t a bit pudgy... finding jeans is a struggle. At some point all denim companies chopped at least one, if not multiple, roomier cuts off to add various skinny varieties.

eSports will likely always be fairly toxic, just like almost anything that has an element of competition to it.

So, the WNBA?

I was going to say the same thing. Smash’s community is one of the worst among bad communities.

It didn’t have a plan, and pre-jedi and pre-combat “upgrade”, it didn’t need one.

Keyforge is great and has established a very strong player base.

My parents had a 42" TV mounted about 7' off the ground in the middle of their wall in the living room of their new house. In their defense, they did not put the TV there - it was installed (and left) by the previous owners, but they also didn’t see a problem with it.

I think the blame falls squarely on the VC assholes that bought these sites. Deadspin, for better or worse, made it’s name by being a sports website that wasn’t always about sports in the strictest way possible. Deadspin has been extremely anti-Sticking to Sports, because they recognized (correctly) that there’s a lot

This was my exact feeling. I absolutely loved RDR2, but a switch absolutely flipped at about 50 hours in and I just wanted to be done. I went from doing every mission and side activity I could find to doing nothing but story missions, and it was still a solid 15 hours or so.
