Mine didn’t hurt at all the first time - the EMT who did it did a great job, even if he appeared that it would be physically impossible for him to care any less about what he was doing.

I mean, I’m not asking a scene where Sebastian Stan does his best “Ice-T in SVU being an audience insert” impression and bluntly asks “Wait, you’re telling me life is hard for a black man?”
I hadn’t heard that, I’m sorry for that for your son and your family.
I know, and ultimately I do. I just don’t know how you really go about fixing that problem aside from crossing your fingers that at some point, they do the right thing... which they won’t.
Currently in my department, we have 5 people who are either fully vaccinated or will be. There are 16 people in the department in total. We are all eligible, and have been since March (in Missouri, which was at one point I believe last or near last in the nation in terms of rollout).
I think right now people are so caught up in wanting to blame various generations for things that they forget that time passes. Like blaming millennials for spreading COVID at spring break when the youngest of them is like 25, or saying that baby boomers don’t know who Outkast is now like it’s shocking, since they…
I’d throw Braum’s in there
I’m not sure what happened, but Five Guys seems to have been steadily declining in quality and increasing in price. It used to be my go-to for burgers, but when my wife and I spend just under $30 for 2 burgers and some fries, and the burger isn’t blowing the doors off anymore, it’s gone from top of my list to like...…
I agree, it’s unfortunate that “git gud” has such a negative connotation because it’s legitimately how you get through certain games - despite what people want to hear. There are no catch-all tips to Hollow Knight (or Bloodborne, or Dark Souls, Binding of Isaac, etc) that will actually help you that much. You can know…
Yeah not liking boss fights kind of stuck out to me as well.
unless the login queues were caused by code changes
Yeah... I don’t have anything to say one way or another about Avatar, and I think that’s kind of how a lot of people are with it. Once the technological spectacle of it all faded once you left the theater, that’s it.
A very small Sinclair station in my old home town (a suburb of Kansas City) had a single “unit” of full-service pumps until the station closed down, presumably due to the giant QuikTrip that was put in about a block away, in the early 2000's.
Yeah, they are generally easy enough to kill, but with pure numbers it becomes an issue of triage even with an LMG. I try to kill the little guys as soon as I see them so i can focus on the big guys, but often more little guys come out when dealing with big guys.
In my experience, Technomancer is the only one that can really play that way, and only really against human enemies. It’s functionally impossible to play that way against the beasts if you’re playing on a decent world tier.
There’s a fight in the quarry (I think) where you have to fight a brood mother while waves of 6 melee guys charge you
the writing in Outrider is absolutely atrocious.
Bert is a perfectly decent comedian, but his amount of apparent fame and influence far outstrips his talent as a comic. Maybe it’s just that he’s a relentless self-promoter or always good for being on a podcast and saying some stupid shit, but he seems to be everywhere and it’s very weird to me, given the number of…
People buy stuff because famous people all the time. It’s pretty much the entire thing with sponsorship and endorsements. Why would a Fortnite skin be any different?
For sure, being obnoxious is certainly not a crime or anything close to it. I find his actions on some other media I do/used to enjoy to be incredibly annoying, so it’s hard for me personally to appreciate his talent, like you said.
