I agree with your basic sentiment. I have a complicated relationship with spoilers that has only recently started to manifest, and I fear that I’ve been caught up in the general internet hysteria about spoilers.

I mean, I get it - music is subjective, and even within metal there’s a lot of stupid genre hair-splitting and weird arbitrary lines. But I find it a little hard to believe that there’s not a single person on staff that isn’t into metal or hard rock. Both Carcass and Baroness have made it on to other lists of this ilk.
That’s because it’s a boring, self-indulgent, and overall not very good album. People were just excited because it had been so long since the last Tool album.
I knew when I clicked the list that there would be no metal or even hard rock, despite a couple metal/hard rock albums getting on some other lists. I knew this list would be all fucking lo-fi hip-hop and a bunch of other alt-indie or whatever bullshit, but I still clicked it, hoping to see even one metal/hard rock…
Yeah, that’s one of the better ones. It’s a pretty subtle joke.
There’s a local chain of brunch restaurants here that has some pretty tryhard menu items, but I think they are somewhat amusing and enjoy it. A lot are movie references.
Uh... I believe you have the wrong fandom.
I just started a new heavily-modded campaign in XCOM 2, so I’m working through that. Just added a new soldier class, so I’m trying to figure out how to get some rookies so I can train one up. Just got the first armor upgrade, so I’m going to do the first blacksite mission soon. I purchased Phoenix Point, but all it…
I certainly don’t, unless they are of abnormally high quality and for games that I already know what I’m going to get. That Venn diagram pretty much only has Blizzard in the middle of it. So basically, I enjoy Blizzard’s cinematic trailers because their quality is ridiculous and I don’t need to see gameplay to know…
I’d “waste” my talents every day if it meant getting paid buckets of cash and getting paid vacations for me and my friends.
Nah, it’s the success. If the ethics were the problem, then it would be presented in a way that said that - “I don’t think people should be profiting so much from other people’s work”.
These are the same type of people who side with team owners vs. players in sports, or support tax cuts for the rich even though they themselves are not (and never will be) rich enough to take advantage of them.
Huh. That does look wildly different. Maybe I’ll give it a shot. I had intentions of going back to it when it was more complete, but then I never did and didn’t hear/see anything about it, so I just assumed they hadn’t done much.
Yeah, none of that existed. The basic progression path was incomplete and the story content ended with some weird penguin boss fight I think? Last time I played it was when they first sent out playable versions to people, so like 2012?
I mean, it’s really gross... but assuming you’re in the US, most store-bought eggs are pasteurized so you could eat eggs raw fairly safely.
In all parts of the world with people in them, 28 is child bearing age because that’s how humans work.
I think most people just don’t understand how much work even moderately popular streamers have to put in just to maintain their viewer counts, much less gain viewers.
Has Starbound changed that much? Last time I played it, which was admittedly a very long time ago, I wasn’t impressed and due to life and a lot of other games, I never really played it again.
I dunno man, a character that was in half the movie and turned into a secondary objective for the main cast and then his adult version that appears at the very end of the movie... that’s a lot to ask. Those are some deep cuts.
My main issue with the OP is not that they are buying a $250 shot. I’ve had my fair share of expensive (but nothing absurd) liquors, and they are generally expensive for a reason. I’m not an enthusiast (for liquor, at least), but I hang around with enthusiasts so I end up drinking good stuff by proximity. I get the…
