I just can’t wrap my mind around the appeal of wanting to play any MMORPG in it’s launch state

The mishandling of classic launch is really frustrating and i’m really sad I didn’t get to play with my friends last night. Hopefully it gets better.
My theory is that casual viewers just don’t know how to watch baseball properly.
LJS chicken was/is my guilty pleasure food. I used to eat it once a year, when my wife is out of town so that I can fully marinate in my shame. I moved, so it’s significantly farther away, and as a result haven’t eaten it this year. Yet.
You wouldn’t get past the “social” part of social contract before getting shouted down by at least 35% of the population, so I guess it depends how far into explaining it you get before starting to mention what it’s called.
Is there any other sport like American football where the fans and pundits feel like the players owe them something? And said fans/pundit industry feel they have a divine right to dictate behavioral standards to the players?
Been playing Remnant, re-rolled my campaign last night in hopes of getting the Assault Rifle, but didn’t. Contemplating re-rolling to try again, but not sure. Gave up my one and only necklace item (that is very good) for a new armor set with a set bonus that gives a 35% chance to not consume ammo, which is also really…
but there are just as many cloistered academicians holding tenure who’ve got no business being anywhere near a classroom.
There’s a store called TACTICAL SH*T in my area. That’s not me self-censoring or capitalizing for effect, that’s actually what it’s called and how it’s stylized on the signage.
When you start your session, you can set a privacy setting (default is friends only) and then it’s drop in/drop out. The host has to go to a checkpoint to allow the joining player(s) to join, but you spectate the host until that happens. Everything is dependent on the host - you go by the host’s campaign progress…
It’s fun co-op, but something that was a bit of a surprise is that only the host’s campaign progress gets saved. The upshot is that you get double loot, but if you join a friend and play for a couple hours, any story progress you make is not saved. Your loot/experience/materials all are, though.
I saw this described as a survival game
Yes it very much is.
I really do too, to be honest.
Towards the end of our Gloomhaven run, we were knocking out a scenario in 30 minutes to an hour, but our first handful took us every bit of 2-3 hours, not including setup. It’s a decently complex game, and then we found out after the fact we were basically playing on super hard mode due to overlooking/misunderstanding…
One of my buddies picked up Gloomhaven, and we were also kind of bewildered by the permanent nature of the game. He elected to buy the removable sticker set, because we wanted to consider the prospect of actually wanting to start over, and we also know that life can be busy and sometimes shit happens.
Over/under is hard to use for dates because typically it’s presented in a way that you can’t have a push, typically using half of something. You’d have to go down to to smaller units than day, like hour.
Wow, that’s not at all what I thought this game was going to be based on the trailer I saw.
The one (and only) time I did AYCE sushi, the penalty for not finishing was not ever mentioned (by design) and in very small print on the back of the ordering slips, which conveniently had all the ordering on the front. My wife and I both ended up ordering too much for our ill-advised third round, and it ended up…
Yep. I’m out of my office clothes and into comfortable clothes within 5 minutes of getting home, the biggest single relief being the underwear change. Unless I have to go somewhere, and then I won’t change until I’m home for good. Like you, I get pretty annoyed if I have to change.
