I wear relatively tight boxer briefs at work every day. Coming home and changing into my comfortable boxers and pajama pants is the highlight of my day.

I read these people as simply not caring what the person on the other line is saying. The level of selfishness and arrogance that emanates from people who use their phones like this makes me seethe with rage.
Yes, because that’s what has happened with Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studios, and Guerrilla.
There’s no past history of Sony relegating studios to a single franchise. What a shitty take.
I mean, you can kind of shorthand it...
Yep. Had a relative who was a crazy old lady and they dumped all kinds of food into their yard to feed raccoons and other animals. They had several generations of raccoons that expected food, and they would show up every night - all 20 or so of them - for their food.
Obviously they just need to streamline the playbook to 100% RPO, remove the necessity of reading a defense, and call plays from the sideline by holding up posterboards with memes on them.
College offenses are going to ruin the NFL we once knew and loved.
Near Union Station (which is currently being revamped as well), from what I understand. At least that was the plan initially.
If there’s anything I’ve learned in my relatively short tenure reading the comments here at Deadspin, it’s that if there’s a weird way to do a relatively mundane thing, people do it.
Is there any clarification on what she means here: “They hired someone else who is wonderful but who has never stuck their neck out,”? Does she mean someone who’s never done edgy work?
This isn’t platform wide, and only affects a few games where workshop mods have been used to hijack accounts, but don’t let facts get in the way of shilling for Epic.
Bloodborne?
I will preface this by saying that I haven’t played since shortly after the Elysium update, so some of my issues might be moot at this point.
From what I’ve played, Hades is really unique in that respect. Binding of Isaac has a progressively revealed story as you beat various bosses, but it’s nothing compared to Hades from a run-to-run perspective. Dead Cells doesn’t even really have a narrative, same with Rogue Legacy. The genre as a whole is really not…
Yep, the couple guys that I’ll check in on at Twitch are in the 2000-200 range for consistent viewers and that seems to be the sweet spot. I prefer watching Youtube (even if they are just Twitch VOD’s), as I like watching things on my own schedule, but on the off chance I catch one of them while streaming, I’ll pop…
Sadly, I think a lot of the people behind the Bioware favorites are either out of the industry or have moved on to other studios. I’m not sure the current Bioware is capable of making games like that anymore. The portrait that the infamous Anthem development diary article painted was... not good, especially of…
Yeah. I think had Anthem be a bit more on the good side at release, people wouldn’t have been so quick to dismiss it, and it would have had the time to fix what was wrong. Not that it excuses it, but a little bit of goodwill can go some distance as long as The Potential is there.
Yeah, EA’s seemingly one real request (other than the assumed sell units mandate) of it being unmemeable in response to ME:A being met with Anthem being the complete opposite was pretty good. I don’t have any goodwill towards EA either, so that part was still funny to me.
I understand EA not wanting to give Bioware more time since they’d already wasted a few years of Anthem’s development, but yeah, I still don’t see why releasing in that state made sense.
