This can work but only if we start taxing the shit out of billionaires. No one needs a billion dollars, and I think it gets lost on a lot of people just how big a number 1,000,000,000 is. And we have people with $40,000,000,000 just twiddling their thumbs and buying yachts.

He’s gone from “who?” to 5th in polling in just a few months.  I’d say his odds of winning are slightly better than that. 

Add in the cost of child care that 12K turns into 25k+. If your partner makes enough I can see a lot of people sacrificing a few luxuries to be able to spend that much time with their kids.

Ask the Military how it feels to spend that type of taxpayer money a year..
