Tommy Craggs sounds like a great guy. This is also a lovely article.

Glad to see you guys are finally reading my fucking emails.
I look forward to seeing this on Bill O'Reilly's 'I Told You So' segment.
Tom?
Modesty: the gentle art of enhancing your charm by pretending not to be aware of it.
You're never going to get me to say anything bad about Tommy Craggs. The guy once sent me to Panama for a story and…
Nice catch with that detail!
Yea the music was a little overbearing at times, kills the suspense.
Futuristic hi-tech space travel is all sexy and all, but when something goes wrong or a power surge fries some delicate electronics those fancy holographs and touchscreen controls won't be any good , I don't care how far in the future it is - every space ship should have physical knobs and toggle switches.
Keeping the set dark hides the low budget set building flaws. Sounds bad but is actually good as it increases believability by hiding the duct tape. The dirty part makes it real. The working people in space concept.
Nice! I like how the chess board sets up the final twist — it has two sides with identical pieces, too. And I always love retro sci-fi. I hope it gets a feature length version.
This is already better than a lot of big money movies. There is a story, mystery, better acting than some of the dross some people call acting and it looks really good.
In the case of Almost Human, though, Fox mixing up the schedule was partly to blame in addition to the show runner/writers. Some of the stronger episodes that came later in the season would have been aired earlier if the original broadcast schedule was followed.
Can I have a moment to say curse you, Fox, for killing "Almost Human" just as it was hitting its stride?
Kidnapping is such an ugly word. I much prefer the phrase 'redistribution of labor to ensure the economic optimization of newly acquired territories.'
For me it was the lighting, or lack thereof. Nothing loses my interest fast than not being able to see what's on the screen. The whole scene with the hooker(?) was just a black screen.
meh
I may be in the minority, but I couldn't get through it. The bad death metal soundtrack, the bad slow motion fight scenes, etc. It's a fairly ok entry as a high school film student entry, but I wouldn't watch it again.
I loved that alley scene that was so dark you couldn't see shit for over a minute. Was I supposed to use my bat powered echo location for that scene? Way to make a movie.
