Yeah, I’m not holding out for that or several others on my list. Even if it did, I doubt I’d want to play it on Switch

For me, the deck is the perfect way to play games that aren’t available (yet) on Switch. In my first few weeks with it, I’ve played through Alan Wake, Shadow Tactics, and Portal 2, and I’m gonna be playing through Control, Death Stranding, Elden Ring, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Tunic next.
Art *should* be copied and iterated upon, and as long as this game isn’t directly using Nintendo assets, it should be allowed to exist and flourish freely.
No worries. I loved my university & college experience as well, but it’s just funny that this isn’t too far off from some things I experienced.
Ok, this genuinely sounds like it could’ve been the college I went to. Can you give us a hint?
Those tweets in the article are examples of ‘softlocks’ that were encountered while pursuing speedrun techniques, so I don’t think they can be compared to just genuinely being lost.
For me, this game is almost therapeutic in its exploration. You’re right that the enemies are mainly to be avoided where possible, but there’s something cool about being in a hostile world/dimension where you can infect enemies and seek out every nook and cranny for secrets you missed or places you couldn’t reach…
I look forward to streaming this on my Switch
Friends of Ringo Ishikawa was a phenomenal “mood” game. Can’t wait for this.
I want this on Switch so bad. Maybe my #1 wished-for classic.
Suikōden I is baller, and Suikōden II should be somewhere on everyone’s top 10 JRPG list.
I’m... very conflicted about this and need to think about it some more.
This is interesting, and I think indicative of where the competitive Smash scene is right now. It feels, in a way, like it’s Ultimate v. Melee, and the lingering questions seem to be – will Melee stick around? Will Ultimate take over? How does a scene coexist without one weakening the other? I watched last night for…
Plan to spend several hours on the Farewell chapter. Just finished it last night after weeks of off and on playing. Rewarding, but so, so difficult.
I predict Nintendo has this plan for a few other Gameboy games. Super Mario Land perhaps?
This is relevant to me. The game has finally hooked me after the demo, but the thought of 90 more hours of this music is not pleasant. Will prob just turn it down or listen to something else while I play.
What is your Nintendo Friend code?
I completely missed the prime competitive Melee years, and only came to it retroactively through youtube and other places, so I can’t speak to which is better. But I will say that I am in love with competitive Ultimate. I watch every weekend’s big tournaments on Twitch, especially Top 8s. As an Ultimate enthusiast, I…
I think the consensus (so far) is that he’s a very fun, unique character who may be a game-breaker for competitive smash. Can’t say I disagree yet, but this character seems to have so much randomness that I’m not sure how consistently good he could be in competition.
I follow a lot of smash twitter and I’m confident that the “X counters my main” is meant to be a silly observation and not a serious call for change.
