"a Pavlov's Dog activity involving coffee": salivating?

very well said, sir. First lmao of the day. "balls deep in a subwoofer..." ok, I'll be serious now....

7-10 minutes????

as this video of testing in humans shows => "...on humans..."

yeah, saw the WASP as a murder weapon on CSI 2.5 weeks ago.

mmm, I reckon a tricked-out i7 MBA 11" would be similarly prodigious?

big stones, or small stones?

but yay for the SDXC port! Wish everybody else did that!

looks like a well-aimed kick to gonads could have discapacitated the joker wearing the stuff in the photo.

eeehm, is that dead as in "does not live any more"?

you are being too subtle. On the one hand, equaling the average American with an oaf that does not know how to convert kg to lb and just assumes 1:1, and on the other, requiring that the same oaf can discern *number* as sarcasm is maybe asking a bit too much, i.e. shooting yourself in the foot.

ok, my MacBook 13" Al-unibody with 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo and 4 G RAM / 500 HD runs it just fine (together with XP and Ubuntu). The only thing that slows my 'book down is Eclipse, or other Java applications, so it should run just fine on a 1.6 i5

mmm, so, pray tell, what would they have done if they hadn't worked on this something that miraculously appeared on their tables out of thin air (since it had not been "given" to them by nobody)?

amen to that! excellent argumentation Mat.

eeehm, did I sleep through the part where magic was actually declared a verb?

Now playing

That reminds me a bit of the first 5 or so minutes in Die Hard 4, although the hackers get killed and the killing organization is private. But don't say I didn't warn ya... (and the video is just the trailer, I couldn't find vid of the chase and was too lazy to get a DVD and rip it myself:-S)

well, it was given to the agents, the lab people etc. If those people would have had nothing to do otherwise, than that's interesting enough. It doesn't have to be downright corruption, that wasn't even the stuff I was looking for, but $100m pays for a whole shitload of lab people and agents. That's almost your own

so, who received the $100 million? That's as interesting a question as who did what? Huge amounts of money are moved and nobody even stops to ask where and, above all, who to. That smells.

ouch

he's been on remote control for a couple of years already, just like the last pope
