My kids loved Sam & Cat (and the other related shows to a lesser extent). I probably watched every episode from those two seasons at least 5 times. They did have an occasional adult-skewed joke to make it more tolerable - I remember a reference to Wayland Flowers & Madame, and there was an episode with Penny Marshall…

I saw Grease when I was around 7. I loved it, but a lot of the stuff about Rizzo’s period being late and Sandy being “lousy with virginity” must have gone over my head. I wasn’t traumatized, but I think I expected high school would be more like Grease than it actually was. 

When I was a kid and didn’t like zucchini, my mom used it in chocolate zucchini cake.  I liked that a lot.
