Just watch The Other Two.  It was a good show.

Real People and its similar counterpart That’s Incredible! were must-see TV for me back in the day.

There are way more than 3 stand-up comedians on earth.  Try expanding your horizons.

I think nearly everyone my age watched Sesame Street & The Muppet Show as kids, but I don’t know anyone who would call themselves a Jim Henson fan. I might watch that documentary.

I thought his letter was well-written, but I think we all expect that some PR person or lawyer does the writing. Maybe he was the rare exception, but I kind of doubt it.

I don’t think the main problem was her looks. Read the New York Times article from earlier this year. It sounds like she had trouble with mental illness for a while.

People overdose (accidentally or on purpose) where it’s hot too.

Now playing

I’m guessing you didn’t see a single review (or the trailer), because it was clear that it was about a guy who was a drug-addicted mess.

In the age of Covid, I would think he’d be able to throw on a mask, a hat, and maybe some colored contacts and no one would know who he was.

He wasn’t terribly handsome in his later years, but he was decent looking when he was younger, e.g. the Byrds era.

And Strom Thurmond.  He was a fan of segregation, except when it came to his junk.

Totally agree.

I remember watching Day by Day and thinking the son and the dad were cute, but I don’t remember much beyond that.

My first thought on reading that was “I had cable television in the 80's, so, yes, I’ve seen Soul Man.” I think it might have shown up a lot on HBO before it went to basic cable.

Totally agree. I wasn’t alive when Rosemary was in the prime of her career, so my view may be skewed, but I think of her more as a singer than an actress. Even then, she wasn’t having hit songs when George’s career was happening.

Was he the only one who agreed to show up for this award after they offered it to 57,293 other actors?  Or did he pay to create an organization to give himself an award?

I would think a “chief anti-vaxxer” wouldn’t announce publicly that he got vaccinated, as Bill Maher did.

It was interesting to read in his NY Times obituary that he had polio as a kid (and it made one leg shorter). Alan Alda had polio also, so both Hawkeyes.

Sounds very fictional.  She probably should have thanked Jennifer Aniston, if anyone.

Maybe the public would have survived a message about ear sex, but nostril or eyeball would be gross and/or damaging to the recipient.
