“I would almost challenge them to like be like ‘You know what, get a 15-yarder in the first half. Or a 10-yarder. Really, just any kind of completion would be good, Peyton.”

There should be a special state law that says if you make a delivery guy deliver without tipping him in the middle of a storm, he should legally be able to throw you down the stairs. The higher up you live, the more steps he gets to use.

Calm down. ET slipped on the big run. That’s hardly “butthurt.”

I’ll be forthcoming and say I wasn’t totally sure how Dennis fit in the mix when he was here, but I’ve been reading his twitter for a few days - which has been excellent - and regret that I didn’t appreciate his stuff while it was around.

Seriously - I don’t know why anyone who has the talent to play pro baseball would ever choose to play pro football. Football has the worst contracts from a player perspective (I.e. Not fully guaranteed), they can get cut at the drop of a hat, and there are the health concerns. Not to mention that the average players

The one on the right has a bright future in soccer.

Man, he looks like George Costanza in the episode where he got a hairpiece.

HEY! LAY OFF ROVELL, DAMN IT!

I used to always wonder what kind of absolute fucking moron would lose all of his money in a pyramid scheme.

Hot take: thuggish?

Oof. Cheap shots fired (in a parking lot).

I remember watching that Super Bowl with then-fiancee; it was only the second or third NFL game she’d ever seen (she’d only immigrated from Canada three months before.)

Now playing

There’s nothing to be said. It was the most infuriating 6 minutes of football. Not as a Chiefs fan (since I’m not), but just as a football fan. What the fuck was going on? No one acted like it was a big deal. There was no sense of urgency.

At this point, I feel even Madden players could run circles around him when it comes to clock management. Granted, it’d be a two-mile run, but I’m sure they can run a circle around him.

If a defender is close enough to Manning, all he has to do is touch him while he’s down and the play is over. No ref is going to throw a flag for a defender making sure the guy is down by tapping him on the shoulder pad. Of course if you dive at a guy who’s already on the ground, the flag will and should come out.

Or just put your hands on him without actually hitting him. The play ends, you avoid the flag, and the Broncos begin the next play several yards further back than last time.

Because this was a coach/assistant poll? No players as headline states. I'm sure the ones who've been groin punched by Paul would vote him.

Who in their right mind relies on the NFL overtime where you may never touch the ball.
