Fierrari!

Exhibit B NA

The answer is always Mi... ooh. Not this time.

As far as new goes, I think the Mazda3 2.5 onlay apapplies well into the 20s, so that’s out. The Golf TSi is nice, as is the Fit... Focus and Fiesta are likely good as well, though I’ve not driven either.

How... can they not be wearing helmets? I’d be terrified to take any sort of corner in this thing.

Idea for follow-up post: what to do / not do as a bystander to an accident. I winged it this autumn where a batshit driver caused a nice juicy no-injury mess, before I had a dash cam. I think I was able to help at the scene, and later during the insurance investigation, but I’m sure I could have done better.

The Miata is not a fast car. It hits 60 somewhere around six seconds, but, like I said earlier, who actually cares?

You certainly won’t fit many in the boot!

I just saw a young guy wrenching on one of these in the local gas station this weekend. Interested to see how it turns out!

Afroduck ought to apply for a job.

I can't wait to hear more! And let us know when the "several years" are up, I will be extremely interested if my Mk4 doesn't die before then.

I certainly agree about the speedo - that stuck out when I test drove the GTI.

Damn, that color option costs more than I paid for my good-condition Mk4 Jetta did in December.

I hate VW for cancelling their dark greens.

OMG yes, I test-drove an auto BMW just to see what it the car like, b/c they didn't have a stick available (!)

I sat in the Fiesta ST twice (without driving), and I thought the positioning of the stick was too far forward for comfort, to the point where I didn't bother test-driving the car. I'm 5'8".

I saw a CRX Si yesterday near NYU! Very surprised.

Oh man, why'd you have to post that?
