KBB gives a range of $3,616 - $4,451 for trade-in on that car in “good” condition in my market, so it sounds like you’re on par.

Imma be that guy that suggests that if you almost hit the timing trailer, it was a poorly-designed course... especially with gravel right next to the finish...

Seems like that’s the typical layout. Eric from South Main Auto did a video on parking brake shoe replacement recently, and it looked much worse than regular drum brakes because of how they were tucked behind the hub.

Yesss it is... I can never figure out why I get those tanks because it doesn’t seem like I’m driving highway overmuch, or trying to economize. It almost seems like some of it comes down to the gas itself, but I haven’t noticed a trend of one station more than another.

Filthy. I keep getting sidetracked and haven’t cleaned it in a while. I did do my spring maintenance routine though. This year it included bleeding the clutch, because I was noticing it becoming flaccid after sitting a while. It actually helped shifting in general too.

I wanted a project vehicle and ended up picking up a distressed 50cc scooter. I just did an oil change + brake bleed + clutch bleed on mine today, and put the summer tires back on. Now it badly needs a good bath and wax.

Well, they ended up dropping someone at the airport right ahead of us, and the roads were damp... my bet is someone clueless and unfamiliar with the roads (and on bald tires?) overcooked one of those turns.

I just did the Prius last week, with OEM plugs. Sooo much easier (transverse I4) than the Ford V6 I attempted years ago, and the Toyota V6 (Sienna) which I didn’t even bother trying. Read more

Supposedly the whole unit is about 120 lbs / 55 kg. The cells shipped in two boxes, and some cleaned-up hardware in a small third box.
