I was waiting to hear what connection he had to Russia. Seems to be the only thing you need on your resume to work for Trump.

I’m sure a few senators will have “serious concerns” and do some very public hand wringing over Wray..........And then fall in line and confirm him without missing a beat.

I’m too the point where I think back to now a year ago when even this website was so anti Hillary and everyone thought cheeto was just a big joke, and I want to cry.

Our society (a lot of societies but we’ve got the bug hard) is obsessed with a polite demeanor and appearance serving as some sort of barometer of a person. Even though some of the brightest people chafe in that mold and many terrible people are excellent at putting up a front.

Maybe after seeing that Gorsuch turned out to be exactly the dangerous far-right ideologue some of us warned about

You know they will.

Stayed at a lake campground all weekend long until today and just drank my face off, boated, partied, ate, swam, drank more... Glanced through the NYT for a minute yesterday morn, but didn’t watch tv or go online at all.

Let’s not forget about his Russia connection.

I am confused by Trump’s tweets, because he talks in circles. And then I realize that that’s exactly the point.

My gf works in a new books book store and the same is true. Can also report that no one is touching the stacks of Bill O’Reilly books that they now have no idea what to do with, even at a 40% discount.

Everyone in America should read the book. Right now... I’ll wait. Ok then. The most important part is the book-within-the-book:

Did you imagine the Cold War was about anything other than money, power and oneupmanship? It was never about ideology, beyond ‘I believe I should have all the money and the power’. The Republicans are perfectly true to form. Russia helped them get to power; why would they care about anything else?

While I doubt that he was able to collude we do know a few things:

It’s not even “their guy” so much as “now all the money is ours.” They don’t care about Dump but they’ll leave him raving around the White House until they rob us of all our money, dignity and lives.

And not only that but, “According to several officials, McConnell raised doubts about the underlying intelligence and made clear to the administration that he would consider any effort by the White House to challenge the Russians publicly an act of partisan politics.

Literally fuck this guy. I hate him so much. I can’t help it. I nearly punched my radio when I got to my car and heard his Fox & Friends quote on NPR. Like, I can’t even any more.

“He did great damage to our democracy and the Republicans just looked the other way.”

He of course is guilty as hell, or people very close to him are, and he probably spends his early mornings freaking out about the investigation and the fact the FBI might be inching closer every day. Love it.

Seems like at least 35% are.

You’re welcome.
