Aw, I thought by 1980 and the officiald ivorce, he was drug-free? I at least addiction-free. I know by the time of his Broadway stint in 1980, he was. But then John Lennon’s death really threw him for a loop.

Yup. Once I pretty much resigned myself to a life of ForeverSingle, the pressure was off and it’s great doing whatever the hell I want.

To be honest, since I’m not a white male and I am sensitive to bad smells, I’d only go back to the past 100 years. Would love to have experienced 60s London and tried to meet the Beatles and all their friends.

DJ is such a great video, isn’t it? And before MTV was even a thing!

Yes! I wish they’d put the damn 5th season on it!

Mmm...80s Bowie...I think the actual year 1980 was his best year for me, in a purely superficial sense. :)

I love me some “Diamond Dogs”. I am partial to Bowie’s music in the 70s, but I do admit that the very first Bowie song that made me really made me even think about him (instead of him just being a classic rock legend that we all took for granted, but didn’t really know anything about) was “I’m Afraid of Americans”.

I’ll be starting a new job with more responsibility, accountability and is basically a “finally putting your money where your mouth is” position for me, so yes...definitely still up for new possibilities.

Oh, what a sweetie pants! Look at her! ::face filled with love::

Wishing you a wonderful and quick recovery! Hooray for surgery taking your pain away (in the long run)!

I just dropped $50 at Lush and $30 at Bath and Body Works, so I probably should not be in this thread lest I be further tempted... :( :( :(

Hi, Jezzies. I know I haven’t participated much lately, but it’s because work has had me so wiped out that my weekends have become basically a depressive attempt to relax.

I care! I CARE!!!!!!

I haven’t received a memento for ages...Sigh. But then again, I haven’t bought too many things lately. I need to devote more time to my kitties...

But it’s a good thing when cats show you their butts...

He also fills the vase with a sundae, in addition to the pizza on the stove!

TUBBBS!!!!!!!! ::falling to knees and showing my fists to the sky::

Oh god, I started crying with him! Niagara Falls!

Someone in college who worked at Sephora (this was 15 years ago, mind you) told me that DDML was basically the same basic ingredient in about four or five different forms on the ingredients list. Not sure if that was true, but I know it never really was that moisturizing for me. I basically save it for summer

Blistex Lip Medex. Best when applied after you take a big swig of water, or right after you brush your teeth so it seals all that moisture in. Bonus tingles!
