I just say dismiss them. Those people are just seeking attention and not worth anyone’s time.

In situations like that, I just try to listen and ask basic questions (even if I don’t really give a crap), and I almost always can turn the conversation into something at least remotely interesting (about a news topic, shared experience, whatever). If I really get bored, I just shut up, laugh or nod when needed, and…

Yup. Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, George Clooney...all the big names, really. Everyone says they’re really relate-able, but I don’t see it. Maybe because I’m not white and affluent?

SO not surprised this happened on United Airlines. I never have problems with flight attendants...except for twice on Continental/United Airlines (I don’t stick with one airline, either).

You laugh, but I did a 3-month stint at a children’s clothing store in my college years, and this girl who was the same age as me would wear the biggest girls’ bottoms. A skinny AND tall type, so imagine a 20 year-old with a tiny skirt meant for an 11 year-old (at the very oldest!).

All I did today was laundry, sew a couple easy things, and take a two-hour nap. It was boring and sad for everyone who is not me. :)

Good luck! So glad you got a good resume helper! I once paid $50 to someone who didn’t even make it better than I already had. Thank goodness one of my friends is great at resumes and turned mine into something to be proud of.
