Mmm...Thanks! My co-worker has been bringing in Japanese eggplant by the bagful, so this will be a great way to use them up besides my standard eggplant recipe. :)

Sorry you got fired. :( What account did you link your Kinja account to, though? It couldn’t have been to your work email, right?
I’m so sorry for your struggle. I can understand money problems, as I definitely have them now, but not to your extent. All I can offer for advice is to maybe go to your school’s career center for some work advice or to see if they have any connections (if you haven’t done so yet)?
Ugh, what the hell? Psycho... I hope you got her on security camera or something?
I always wanted to see it since I read the book. In fact, I think the only thing that made me read the book was hearing that they were making a movie about it way back when. But the book kinda left me like, “Huh?????” Totally not what I was expecting...and I’m still not sure if I liked it!
I try to catch Warren on every talk show she goes on, and she just made me fangirl SO HARD when she was on Conan that I literally was yelling at the TV about how much I love her.
Damn, I’ve only been checking Jez sporadically the past few weeks, so I missed your ratatouille recipe/methods! Could you please repeat for those of us who missed it?
I know what you mean, and I really hope my cynicism about the average voter is proven wrong, but I can’t help but think that Bernie Sanders isn’t 1.) good-looking enough for the American public to take him seriously and 2.) Fox News will win in painting him as the next Hitler because no one bothers to do the most…
I don’t think he has a chance in hell of winning (even though I adore him), but I am really happy about it nonetheless because he’ll push Hilary further left....at least until the primaries are over.
If I had a tail, it would totally end up in my mouth some days...
Yeah, I was coveting the Popsugar box too, but am too poor to afford a subscription. Heh.
I totally get what you’re saying (as one of the “poors”, heh). I’m personally not the type of person who could go to some tropical place and just lay on the beach for the entire week of vacation. Museums, historical houses, easy scenic hiking trails, eating at as many local places as possible, scenic drives... So much…
Bam. That was the arrow, hitting the target and blowing it up. :)
One can go see sights and chill AT the sights! Chill in a nice, quiet, not-too-crowded museum/historic site that’s on your to-do list. Take a chill early/late un-rushed lunch or dinner at that restaurant you’ve been dying to go to. Linger for far longer than you really should at that store you wanted to check out.
Any NJ beach in the late fall, all through winter, and early spring (especially before the kids get out of school).
Also, Ancestry.com is run by the Mormons, who are trying to create a database of every single person on earth and their ancestors so they can probably do nefarious things like baptize you posthumously! :)
I’m not usually one for jumpsuits, especially since I’m a plus size, but damn if I don’t want to rock that navy blue jumpsuit on the right!
Wow, two of my least favorite people, together at last...
I really freakin’ wish people my age would stop trying to revive shit from when they were 10 years or under. Full House was horrible, even to an 8-year-old me, and I was a fucking DUMB kid. Just because you remember something from your childhood, bringing it back will not make you younger. Just grow the hell up. I’m…
French people can be friendly if you try to speak their language and are polite according to their customs (always say “Bonjour” and “Merci, au revoir” to the staff when entering any sort of establishment or interacting with anyone, always say “Pardon” if you need to pass/move past someone on the street or in the…
