I think orchestral openings are rare, but a top 50 cellist is in a pretty good position. I find it interesting when a small city has an orchestra, like Mobile, Alabama. No way is that a full time job. So, a recent college graduate could be a cellist for that orchestra and work at Starbucks.

Taxidermy is creepy, but it can be an employable skill. And it is a skill, whereas a lot of “hobbies” are not skills. I think that women might not appreciate a certain skill, but having a skill in and of itself is impressive. I think that more women would turn away from the Lego guy than the model train guy.
