Ah no! It was part of the series of concerts MTV had when they hosted the VMA’s in NYC.

She is also a ridiculously good peformer. I got to see her for free two years ago and I’ve never been to a more electric, exciting show. Like it was a religious experience.

Kind of ashamed that at one point in my life I could have recreated this video, shot by shot, from memory.

This annoys me because while yes, there are “hipsters” off the L train they can mostly afford Ubers and the like. However, past Dekalb there are lots of non-hipsters who also rely on the L since it’s one of the only trains that run into Canarsie/lower Bushwick/Brownsville and when it doesn’t run into the city we have
