I've set up an automatic transfer through my bank so 10% of my paycheck automatically is transferred into my savings account. That way you don't have to think about it. It's not a massive amount of money but it adds up quickly and before you know it you'll have a nice little savings.

It gets annoying sometimes, especially when you want to buy something just for you, but I think of it as saving for when I won't be physically able to work anymore. Then I'll pay people to do my bidding. I think I will call them minions at that time.
