Yea I agree. And people will bash the Giants for blowing the game again today. But a big reason they lost was because they punted on 4th and 2 on the 40-45 yard line towards the middle of the 4th quarter.

Meanwhile in the Giants game, the announcers criticized the Giants for not taking the points on 4th and 2 at the 15 yard line. Giants ran for like 5 yards but it was called back.

Normally I’d agree. But the whole point about this is that Dan Haren warned Rizzo before he got hit that he was going to get hit. Haren played for the Cards and he knew the mentality they have.

Nope, I haven’t. So what? There are plenty of professional athletes that are jacked up on adrenaline that don’t do stuff like that. Does Tom Brady jump like that when he’s amped up and screaming? Part of being an elite athlete is controlling your emotions.
