To be fair, real roads racing isn’t like GP where the jockey-weight is king. Having an extra 20lbs of brass in your shorts is pretty much a requirement.
He may have disagreed with my analysis in the 1980s when 0-60 times in the 7 second range were blistering for a road car, but considering he spent the second half of his career racing high power cars like the 911T, NSX, and Viper, I wouldn’t be so sure about his current standing.
The only reason it even felt remotely sporty is because it was geared so short. No actual sporty car redlines first gear at 17mph or requires three shifts to hit 60.

My favorite was a stretch of I20 in Mississippi, it was a roller coaster dip from expansion joint to expansion joint, it was weird and fun but not for the motion sickness prone.

I’m glad this’ll be driven. At the end of the day it’s a machine with interchangable parts, not a Picasso.
